Elisa is a registered osteopath who specialises in woman’s health and pre-post-natal care, however her expertise encompasses every age and gender, from babies to elderly. She practices from Notting Hill Gate, Hackney and Winchmore Hill.

Her approach is intuitive, personalised and holistic. Treatments combine structural, cranial and visceral osteopathic techniques. Elements from therapeutic massage, manual lymphatic drainage, myofascial release, Reiki, reflexology, western acupuncture, and aromatherapy are also often incorporated in the treatment to maximise its efficiency.

Graduated with distinctions from the British School of Osteopathy (central London), she has achieved her Master degree in Osteopathy and has continued her education at the Molinari Institute of Health, graduating in a 2 years diploma in women’s health. In addition to her Master in Osteopathy she consistently carries out additional trainings in paediatric, visceral and cranial osteopathy, neuroscience, mindfulness and general medical osteopathic practice, to maintain the highest standards of professionalism.

Background

Elisa has been a therapeutic and holistic bodywork therapist since 1998, taking inspiration from her mother, also a therapist, who introduced her to a wide variety of natural healing methods. She has received most of her professional training in Italy, UK and India, where by learning Ayurvedic medicine, she has discovered another aspect to healing, one that links body, mind and spirituality. She practices meditation and yoga daily to maintain and transmit balance.

Elisa Burato holds a current Advanced CRB certificate, and is registered with the General Osteopathic Council and The Institute of Osteopathy.
